Dharmabad Shikshan Sanstha’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidhyalaya, Dharmabad was established in 1967 under the guidance of Late Dr Shankarrao Chavan and Late Shri Shyamraoji Kadam. It is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. It is registered under 2(f) and 12B of UGC act 1956. Executive committee and Local Management Committee takes care of proper functioning of the college.
Architect of Marathwada Hon’ble Late Dr. Shankarraoji Chavan, Maharshi in Co-operation Late Padmashree Shyamraoji Kadam and the first Municipal President Late Baba Patil Bannalikar along with their colleagues established the Dharmabad Education Society in June 1967.Dharmabad Education Society’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya, Dharmabad has been working in the auspicious field of education for the last 50 years. The celebration of a Golden Jubilee of any institutions is a great event in the history of that institution. It is really an occasion to be proud of that our college is celebrating the golden jubilee of its establishment in this year. I’m indeed very happy to extend my felicitations on this happy occasion.
As I reminisce over the 50 glorious years of existence and growth of our college, my heart fills with love, admiration and pride for the fertile soil which the college provides to the students.
