Dear patron I am very happy to share my thoughts with you. I joined my duty as a librarian in this reputed institute on 1st March 2014 from the first day of my duty we work with our team to give better library services to users under the guidance of Our President Hon. Ashokraoji Chavan Saheb, Secretary Hon. Dr. Kamalkishor Kakani saheb, joint Secretary Hon. Naghbhushanji Varni Saheb, all the directors of Dharmabad Shikshan Santha’s and principal Dr K.S. Kanse Sir. Lal bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya, was established with its library in October 1967. Library was started in those days with 743 books and 12 news-papers. At present library have 68172 books, 27 journals periodicals and magazines. Library is partially automated with SOUL 3.0.5 full edition software. Inflibnet N-List database cum consortium was subscribed since Nov.2014. OPAC facility made available for the students as well as for the staff. The library has well adequate ICT facility it includes five computer systems with good internet connectivity two printers out of two one is all in one printer. The reprography service is provided on the demand of users. Separate internet browsing section is provided to teaching faculty. Separate library building with separate reading rooms for boys as well as for girl students. Recruitment advertisements published in news-papers were paste on library notice board for the information of the students. External membership is providing for the society free of cost
